People have started getting excited. The Enduro/Thunderstock class has always
been one of the classes at the heart of racing. The working class, if you will.
These guys work their butts off day in and day out to provide for their
families and then maybe have a little left over to go out and enjoy the sport
they love on the weekends. The Borderline Brawl is Deep Dixie Racing’s attempt to
recognize those drivers, their family, their crew members and their fans on one
special weekend during the year, Our
goal is to make the 2018 Borderline Brawl one to remember and to set a standard
for future Borderline Brawl events. Lake City, Florida
Activities are being planned for all ages. Friday night after practice we are planning on having a band to provide entertainment. Saturday, before the race, activities such as face painting for the kids, a dunking booth, possibly a cornhole tournament and much more are being looked at.
Prizes for all drivers who gain entry into the main event are being sought as well as other incentives.
After sharing some of these thoughts about making the Borderline Brawl special with folks this past weekend down at
’s Powell Memorial,
you wouldn’t believe the response that was received from those connected to the
racing community. Lots of prizes and gifts have already been promised. Volusia Speedway
